In continuation of the First SHADD workshop, the central purpose of this  meeting was to discuss historical trajectories of men and women enslaved during the era of the slave trade. Among the topics of discussion were childhood, gender, religion and the methodological issues involved in assembling biographies.  This meeting was organized and supported by the Museu Vivo de São Bento, under the direction of Professor Nielson Bezerra.
